The Maddy Screen embodies a sculptural and artistic vision of spatial separation.
Composed of three panels in patinated brass, it asserts a strong architectural presence, subtly animated by the depth and texture of the metal. Each panel is adorned with an assembly of glass, wood, and acrylic stone, entirely hand-sculpted, expressing exceptional artisanal craftsmanship.
The dialogue between solid materials and translucent surfaces creates a graphic interplay of light and void. The refined translucency of glass and acrylic stone contrasts with the warmth of wood and the patina of brass, resulting in a balanced and immersive composition.
